  • Subiect: This paper presents the main reorientation tendencies of cultural policies in museums, in Europe and elsewhere, emphasising the aspects concerning the reaction of the cultural institutions to the public demands. In the context of financial and managerial decentralization, these tendencies get a more tangible character, and they will reveal themselves in the future in the policies of Romanian cultural institutions as well.
