Câteva remarci cu privire la statistică şi distribuţie teritorială

  • Subiect: Some observations regarding statistics and territorial distribution This paper does not intend to discuss the usefulness or the subjectivity of the statistics, but to underline the need to analyse the results of a certain statistics taking intonconsideration different perspectives of approach. Two examples are given, in order to illustrate two different ways of interpreting the results of a statistics: a. a great number of archaeological structures does not necessarily mean a large territorial distribution; b. a relatively small number of structures or inventories could not be equivalent with a sporadic attestation of a phenomenon.
