Influenţe ale picturii brâncoveneşti şi postbrâncoveneşti în bisericile hunedorene

  • Subiect: Influences of Brancovan's and post-Brancovan's paintings in churches from Hunedoara Painting during the reign of Constantine Brancoveanu entered in Transylvania through Romanian painters trained at the School of Hurez. They painted churches in Transylvania and style influenced other artists. Among the most renowned painters of the time whose art has decorated churches in Hunedoara county, it shall be counted Ioan Zugravul of Deva and Ioan Zugravul of Ardeu, Constantin Zugravul of Rişca, Ioan (Urean young) from Valea Lungă, but also painters of Wallachia who decorated churches of Hunedoara county as well as Stan of Răşinari, Simeon and Nicolae Zugravul from Pitesti etc. This style was based on the first national style of painting.
