- Subiect: Pre-Cucuteni culture between history, restoration and exposition Precucuteni Culture is the precursor of the vast Cucuteni-Ariuşd-Tripoli Culture. It has three stages of development: Precucuteni I, Precucuteni II, Precucuteni III, each one presenting specific characteristics. Precucuteni ceramic presents a characteristic decoration, incised, grooved, excised or pigmented. The main motif is spiral, combined with circles, rings, lines and bands. At Târgu Frumos-Baza Pătule was discovered one of the largest settlements of Precucuteni Culture (Precucuteni II-III). Housing began here at around 3900 B.C. (uncalibrated 14C dates) and continued about 200 years. Biconical vessel discovered in 1992 in Târgu Frumos in hole no. 17, was restored following the known technological process: washing, chemical treatment, neutralization, drying, conservation, assembling, completion by adding gypsum, decor integration, final preservation.
