Subiect: Ethnical interpretations of archaeological sites in the Prut-Dniestr region dated 2-4th centuries ad in the soviet historiography
In specialized soviet literature there was not a unique or even predominant theory regarding the ethnical components of human communities of 2-4th centuries AD. All the mentioned peoples - gets, sarmatians, goths - had relatively tight contacts and felt a permanent influence of provincial roman culture, but insisting that slavs were present.
