  • Subiect: Local monograph in Sibiu area. Past, present and future Local monograph represent to Sibiu area cultural phenomenon which began in the late nineteenth century in communities with majority German, and was almost immediately assumed and adapted in Romanian communities. Unfortunately, the two lines of development of monographic domanin collaborated little - the phenomenon is also evident in recent years. German monographs, written and printed in past decades in Germany cannot be found in Romanian libraries and there is minimal interest for dissemination in Romania. Meanwhile, Romanian monographs appear only incidentally in Germany and there are not consulted by Saxon authors. Although parallel phenomenon of the resurgence of interest in local monograph puts the same methodological issues: Who writes?; What kind of science put in work?; Which is the optimal structure of work?; Who is the target audience and how respond to it needs?
