Ceramica Terra Sigillata din barăcile soldaţilor castrului roman CUMIDAVA, Râşnov, Braşov

  • Subiect: Terra sigillata pottery in the soldiers barracks Roman camp Cumidava, Râşnov, Braşov Ceramic terra sigillata is part of the Roman era pottery house and especially the Empire period. There were numerous workshops manufacturing centers with fine paste of this pottery and ornate, both in the Italian peninsula and in several centers devoted to the Empire. A study of these sigillata must include a presentation and of course an explanation of forms, but especially a fair and thorough study of the vases decorated in relief, particularly those beautifully crafted dishes that have become the preserve of civil and military Roman aristocracy. Terra sigillata ceramic material, referred to herein, was discovered in praetentura sinistra Roman camp Rasnov Cumidava on amplasamantul auxiliary forces barracks soldiers stationed in the fort, since its establishment in the early century. II d.AD., to decommissioning by mid-century III d.AD.
