  • Subiect: The Road of the Roman Army in the Southwest Transylvania during the Dacian wars - a hypothesis This note presents a hypothesis regarding the path of the Roman army in southwest Transylvania during the Dacian wars. Only a few informations regarding this topic exists. It appears that the Roman army used a zigzagged line and a distance of 5 miles (7,4 kilometers) between stops, from the Caput Stenarum castrum to the one in Sebeş. During this march were conquered the citadels of Tilişca and Căpâlna.
