  • Subiect: USSR – an empire based on lies and deceptions (from the practice of deportations in the SSRM, 1941-1949) Very often in official speeches or press statements, the leadership of the USSR (Stalin, Molotov, Beria etc.) said inexhaustible facts (lies) or applied deception to achieve concrete, immediate goals. The same practice was applied to the Bessarabians and Bucovinians, when the Soviets attached Bessarabia, northern Bucovina, Herţa Land. Deported people have been lying repeatedly, either on picking up and sending them to Siberia or at places of destination, labor camps, or burglaries.
