Materiale constituente şi degradări ale obiectelor de patrimoniu: caracterizare şi evaluare microscopică

  • Subiect: Constituent materials and degradations of cultural heritage items: characterizations and microscopic evaluation The paper is focused on the selected examples from the database of Chemical Investigation Laboratory of the Brukenthal National Museum in Sibiu. Cultural heritage items with paper, textile, leather and parchment were selected as examples. Considered to be representative examples highlight the features of the constituent materials of the cultural heritage items and theirs degradation identified by examination with stereomicroscope. The aspect illustrated by the microscopic study proved to be relevant and very useful for assessing the conservation status of the analyzed cultural heritage objects, preliminary to the restoration and/or conservation inter-ventions.
