  • Subiect: Edgar Quinet and the romanians he book Edgar Quinet and the Romanians aims to illustrate the memory and identity of the distinguished scholar and French teacher, as well as its link to Romania's deep affection. For his Romanian philo-Romanian attitude, he received Romanian citizenship in 1869 and was elected an honorary member of the Romanian Academy. We consider it an example to remind both the political world of this country and the entire Romanian nation, an example that reveals a devotion that is difficult to understand vis-à-vis a cause that was not his or his nation but a sustained the support of justice, evolved democratic beliefs.
