1919-2019. 100 de ani de la înfiinţarea Colegiului Naţional „Gheorghe Şincai” din Baia Mare

  • Subiect: 1919-2019. 100 years from setting up „Gheorghe Şincai” National College of Baia Mare Like 2018, when the Centenary of the Great Union was celebrated, and the year 2019 has a symbolic burden for Romanians, because a hundred years ago important events took place for the completion of our national identity. In this regard, I mention: the release and establishment of the Romanian administration in the northwestern parts of the country (April 1919), the first visit of the royal family to the Transylvanian area (May 1919) and the establishment in the same area, by the Governing Council, of the first 27 of Romanian high schools, among which are the „Gheorghe Şincai” High School in Baia Mare.The present study aims to present the founding, the organizing stages and the educational process of the school year 1919-1920, in light of the articles in the weather press and the archival documents, held at the first Romanian high school in Baia Mare, which at present bears the name. by „Gheorghe Şincai” National College Baia Mare.
