Rudolf Zoscsak şi Serviciul Geografic al Armatei

  • Subiect: Rudolf Zoscsak and the Army Geographic Institute Rudolf Zoscsak was one of the most well-known Romanian philatelists. An exceptional collector, he looked with equal interest to the classical philately, and also to the contemporary one of his time. He was a visionary, noting the interest he showed for some philatelic pieces, such as the postal stationeries, which his contemporaries ignored. Zoscsak was employed on October 1st, 1898, at the Army Geographic Institute as a 2nd class engraver. He was a civilian employee at a military institution. He worked here up to January 1st, 1930, when fulfilling the conditions of age and seniority in work was retired („put into retreat”).
