Activitatea editorială a Laboratorului pentru analiza conflictului transnistrean – contribuţie la cercetarea mediului regional de securitate

  • Subiect: Editorial production to the transnistrian conflicts analysis Laboratory – contribution to the regional security research Armed conflict erupted in 1992 in the Eastern region of the Republic of Moldova, with major influences on the regional security environment (especially regarding the interests of the Russian Federation, Ukraine and Romania, but also through the involvement of international organizations such as the OSCE and the European Union), it has not been the subject of systematic scientific research in Romania, for more than two decades.This deficiency affected the level of analyzes and decisions of the political factors, the depth of knowledge in the academic and research environment, but also the objectivity of informing the public opinion. Against this background, in 2013 the Transnistrian Conflict Analysis Laboratory started to activate, as a research unit of the „Lucian Blaga”, University in Sibiu. Drawing on projects, conferences, workshops, research internships and study visits, LACT currently reports five research volumes and two issues of the journal „Yearbook of the Laboratory for the Transnistrian Conflict Analysis”.
