  • Subiect: Is Marcel Duchamp the most important artist in history? Marcel Duchamp (1887-1968) was a critic of conventional art and his visions were quickly adopted by a group of artists who during the First World War fled to Switzerland and joined a „anti-art”. He is, however, the ready-made father in painting, but also sculpture, using banal objects that gave them titles that had nothing to do with their usual use. Readymade, as an idea and practice, reduced to zero any aesthetic doctrine and virtuosity of execution.
