Subiect: Albu the Treasurer (about 1460-1510) and its Kinship with the Old Families of the Boyars from the Toplolg Valley, Argeş County The author presents some aspects from the life and the activity of the treasurer Albu (about 1460-1510), who was noticed as a faithful boyar to Vlad Călugărul - from the very beginning of his reign -, then as a diplomatic ambassador (messenger) and counselor of the lords Radu cel Mare and Mihnea cel Rău. He ended as a participant to the plot against Mihnea cel Rău. Albu treasurer was considered as the first boyar, per feminas, from Cepari; he is also claimed as an ancestor, semper per feminas, of the great politicians Ion. I. C. Brătianu
