Politici comunitare evreieşti în parlamentul României (1922-1929)

  • Subiect: Judaic Community Politics in the Romanian Parliament (1922-1929) After 1919 the main target of the Jewish leaders and Parliament members was the removal of the nefarious effects of the decision taken by the Romanian government in 1862, according to which the communities had lost their status of communal organization officially acknowledged by the state. Under these circumstances, the elaboration of a unitary legislation concerning the organization and official recognition of the Jewish communities had soon become a major item on the agenda of all representatives in the Lower and Upper Chambers of the Parliament irrespective of their political orientation.
