Implicarea bisericii greco-catolice în susţinerea învăţământului confesional din dieceza Gherla în secolul al XIX-lea

  • Subiect: CONSIDERATIONS CONCERNING THE ROLE OF THE GREEK CATHOLICS CHURCH IN THE CONFESSIONAL EDUCATION SUPPORT FROM THE BISHOPRIC OF GHERLA IN THE XIX CENTURY This study has tried to bring out a few important aspects regarding the confessional education from Transylvania in the XIX century. In the XIX century confessional education faced a large development. The Greek-Catholic Church of Sălaj would support this kind of schools and do the best to keep the confessional character of the Romanian schools although after the 1868 the Hungarian authorities tried to replace the confessional schools with state schools. Our study capitalizes some original archive documents which manage to prove us as well as possible the important role of this schools for the social, political and spiritual evolution from Transylvania in that time.
