Biserici şi şcoli protestante la Piteşti în a doua jumătate a secolului al XIX-lea

  • Subiect: Lutheran Churches and Schools in Piteşti in the Second Half of the 19th Century As a result of the appearing of some new ethical and religious communities, in the second half of the 19th century, some Lutheran churches were built in Piteşti. Some school functioned beside them in various periods of time. Thus, on the 11th of December 1862, the Lutheran-Hungarian community built a church which no longer exists since the World War II. It was built on a plot of land from downtown donated by the doctor Carol Zekely. Beside this Lutheran church a school where both the Hungarian and the Romanian were taught was opened after the 23rd of April 1863.
