  • Subiect: The ethnography work made on this occasion puts in relationship various customs, linked to certain feasts or to important moments in man's life, with the symbolical and sacred presence of wheat and bread. Speaking about the wheat and bread's symbolization in different contexts, are updated customs from an area in which many of the traditional cultural values are still present: the villages in Ţara Moţilor. The information found in this work show the place taken by wheat and bread în Romanian tradition, and the way in which certain values are still present in the contemporary society man's mentality.
