O scurtă prezentare a hărţilor din colecţia Muzeului Municipiului Bucureşti din perspectiva conservării

  • Subiect: Since 1926, when the Museum of the Municipality of Bucharest was founded, maps have been gathered, by various means, either by acquisitions, or by donations. Some maps acquired thus were well preserved, others were not, and needed restoration. These can be classified according to the technique used for their issue, according to their chromatics, or to their epoch. The article presents the types of maps in the Museum collections, the types of their degradations and various solutions applied in their preservation and restoration.
