Notaţia tradiţională a muzicii folclorice din perspectiva istorică

  • Subiect: Organ tabs belonging to Jean from Lublin, coming from Ion Caioni and the Vietoris Codex manuscript, comprising a large number of Romanian music, actually represents the first notations of Romanian folk songs from the sixteenth and seventeenth century. Once with the revival of Romanian art and culture in the nineteenth century, the main concern of the musicians goes towards notation and transcription of the Romanian folk music and at the same time towards publication of the repertoire. At the beginning of the twentieth century, in Romania, a new orientation related to collections of folklore based on authentic research material in rural and urban areas appears. As a result, multiplication of folkloric collections results in the appearance of folkloric publications.
