"Grija faţă de om" în filozofia lui Aristotel

  • Subiect: The Concern for the Man in Aristotle’s Philosophy The main theme of the Aristotle’s ethics is the happiness of the man. The state of eudemonia is a complex way of life. The nucleus of happiness is made by “the activities according to virtues”, coming from “the soul’s well-being”. The parts of the happiness are the following: inner goods, that is those of the soul and body, and the external goods: a good birth, friends, money, honors and luck. The happiness is offered by the “activity of the soul according to the complete virtue”. If the necessary circumstances are missing, it is “impossible” to be a happy person. The happiness could fail to come if some circumstances could not be complete, but if someone tolerates many misfortunes not because the insensibility but because of nobleness, then he could be happy.
