Subiect: „The presentation explores the relationship between the MUSEUM and the documentary FILM, based on the experience of the ASTRA FILM Studio, the visual anthropology department of the ASTRA Museum. Three levels are defined within this relationship: the film made about the museum, the film in the museum, and the anthropo/ogica/ film, based on the results of the museum's research programmes. The paper points aut the challenges faced by the ASTRA Museum when producing
documentary films on the traditional life, and the differences between the specialized productions of the ASTRA Film Studio and the TV-style documentaries made on the same topic.”
