Alimentaţia la ucrainienii din Ruscova

  • Subiect: A very important part of the cultures of each nation is the nourishment. The character of these depend of many factors like the economic situation of man, the historian conditions, the natural geographic medium, the household activity. The Ukrainians from Ruscova has nourished with farm produces obtained in own farm. The villagers cultivated maize, potatoes, oats and many vegetables. One of the main activity of Ukrainians from Ruscova was animals breeding especially big horned, sheep and swine. That’s way a very important food produce was the milk and produces obtained by milk like green ewe cheese, cheese, soft cottage cheese, yoghurt etc. The (maintenance) conservation methods of the food was the drying, the salting and the making sour. The food is divided at the Ukrainians in two different parts: one is the food of every day and the other is the festive food.
