Fragmentarea rituală a idolilor şi obiectelor de cult în Neolitic şi Epoca Crupului

  • Subiect: „We have presented some examples related with the fragmentation of different cult objects. Such practices have been observed starting with Early Neolithic until Copper Age Period. We consider that there are many situations that prove an intentional broken of such pieces: some ritual deposition such as Donja Branjevina or Zăuan; ritual pits that represent graves too - such as Tărtăria; offering and abandonment pits, such as Parţa in Sanctuary 1 and Isaiia, House 5; offering pits in Scânteia (pits no. 62, 113); foundation rituals at Uivar; intentional destruction related with conflict between community such as noticed at Parţa, in Sanctuary 2. The presented data do not exclude other sort of destruction related with regular functionality or with human activity.”
