Aşezarea geto-dacică de la Poroschia (judeţul Teleorman)

  • Subiect: The Geto-Dacian Settlement al Poroschia (Teleorman County) ln the north-eastern limit of Poroschia locality, on the left terrace of Vedea river, in the place called „Râpe", in the year 1969 was signaled an open settlement, attributed following the pottery to Geto-Dacians. Here was incidental discovered, too, two monetary hoards composed by Roman republicans denarii, imitations and Thasos coins. The pottery harvested from various field researches at Poroschia is hand-made and wheel-made, too. The geto-dacian settlement is dated between 2-1 centuries BC.
