Biserica Sfântul Nicolae din Piscani, judeţul Argeş. Controverse şi realităţi privind istoricul acestui monument din secolul al XVIII-lea

Subiect: Saint Nicholas Church from Piscani Argeş county. Controversies and reality regarding the history of this monument of the 18th century The author presents important data about the church historical moment S. Nicholas from Piscani (Argeş County), which was built (or rebuilt) between the years 1771-1777 by C. Potoceanu and his sister E., abbot at the hermitage Valea Mare Podgoria. It is again discussed the problem of the greenstone from the narthex of the church, probably belonging to V. Piscanul, great chancellor (executed for betrayal in 1544) and the founder of the old church this the church of the 18th century is superposed one another one from the 16thi century. The article also improves other inedites documents belonging to the archives of the archpriest Constantin Dejan.
