Încadrare paleoclimatică şi paleofitogeografică a macroflorei jurasicului inferior din România. Locul florei în context european

  • Subiect: Considering the regional palaeogeography, the lower Jurassic macroflora localities from Romania are in the warm and wet palaeoclimatic belt that is parallel with the northem margins of the Tethys (Fig. I). The palaeogeographical position of the localities indicates that this macroflora belongs to the European province of the Indo-European palaeophytogeographic territory (Fig. 2). Regarding to the limits between the provinces, only the data published by V achrameev et al. ( 1978), and V achrameev ( 1991 ), are acceptable. The lower Jurassic macroflora from Romania is mainly a Hettangian - Sinemurian flora. A nomenclatural revision and comparison between relevant Hettangian - Sinemurian macrofloras, shows that the Romanian flora contains the greatest number of species (Tab. I). So, from this point of view it is in the first place in Europe. Because of the nomenclatural revision, I propose the new combinations: Ginkgo ettingshausenii (Krasser 1921) Czier comb. nov., Ginkgo minima (Yabe et Oishi 1933) Czier comb. nov., Ginkgo muensteriana (Presl, in Stemberg 1838) Czier, comb. nov., Ginkgo pseudopulchella (Krasser 1921) Czier, comb. nov. (Tab. 2).
