  • Subiect: About Bucharest in the Eve of the Jubilee of 1906, one Century Late The exhibition of 1906 represented both a revival of our past and a foreshadowing of Romania's future because the manifestation was a sort of rehearsal of the Great Union from 1918. Although it had a pure national character the exhibition housed some pavilions of the big European power: The Austrian-Hungarian Empire Italy, Switzerland, France and Germany. There were the desire and care and pride to have and to show to the world a truly European city of the beginning of the 20th century.
