  • Subiect: „The article tries to revive the atmosphere of the begining of 20-th century in Constanţa, using the newspapers of those days, which reproduce most faithfully the colour of that time. The occasion of opening the seaport is considered emphasized.. This article quotes passages of newspapers which point out the joy of Constanţa citizens and involving of authorites which had to satisfy especially the King. lt gives details about port installations, but it also describes other things like: the band cutting, the banquet and parts of the speech of Vasile Morţun, Minister of public Works, Anghel Saligny's speech and the answer of King Carol I .”
