Arheologia văii Bratiei (verstigii din preistorie până în epoca romană)

  • Subiect: The Archaeology of Bratia valley (finds from prehistory to kaiserzeit) ln this paper the author present the archaeological vestiges from the banks of Bratia River. Entire valley, measuring 60 km, is placed in the northern half of Argeş County, in the Muscel historical region. Most part of them is chance find. ln Berevoeşti commune were found few stone axes, a hard „miner hammer", a copper axe belonging to Ariuşd type, and ceramics potsherds from Roman period. Of Aninoasa commune is signaled one Roman imperial denarium from emperor Trajan. A substantial quantity of archaeological information is provided by Bălilesti commune: a settlement from Middle Bronze Age (Tei culture), another site with two layers - from Eneolithic (Gumelniţa Culture) and Roman period, and, finally, a stone axe dated to late Eneolithic / early Bronze Age.
