Patrimoniul cultural - argument, în planul educaţiei în spiritul conştientizării propriei identităţi etno-culturale

  • Subiect: We should first of all ask ourselves what is the connection between culture and education, and only then we can make the assertion that education and culture are into an interdependence relation. While culture represents the entire spiritual and material assets created by human being, education is the process through which these assets are known, preserved and passed over to the social persons. Education is the process with the help of which we are transformed from biological beings into social ones. Through education real things are assimilated. The process of consciousness of our own ethno-identity is an example in this respect. The cultural patrimony of a society represents the whole assets, as resuit of the entire community contribution, of each social person. The museums offer special opportunities of learning. They become for children the unofficial place where they are taught at the same time theoretical and practicai things. The program developed by „ASTRA" Museum called the Museum Pedagogy offers the children the possibility to be acquainted and learn traditional folk crafts, to join in cultural and artistic events connected with the traditions and customs of the Roman ian people.
