  • Subiect: Jews which joined the Romanians in the 1848 Revolution in Transylvania The Transylvanian society during the times of the 1848 Revolution was not a society of tolerance. The Hungarian rulers were calling the Germans "bastard dogs", the Romanians "rascals" and the Jews "despicable", etc. A part of the Transylvanian Jews will join the Romanian Revolution of 1848. They will enroll în Avram Iancu's Peasants' arrny or willingly help this army.
