Semnificaţiile istorice ale unui tip de cămaşă femeiască din colecţia "Astra"

  • Subiect: Man first perceived the objects from an utilitarian point of view, then by the time passed and under the influence of economic, social and politica! development and alsa because the contact with other individuals or communities, the importance of the esthetic point of view increased. The clothes, in general, and the folk costume, in particular, suffered major changes in time. Like in other countries, the embroidered peasant women's blouse is the mast exposed piece of the folk costume and is alsa the mast representative from the folk artistic creation point of view. Women's folk costume from „Mărginimea Sibiului" ethnographic zone presents a special distinction, given by elegance of the decorated pieces and also by the dominant chromatics: white and black. The blouse from Sălişte, named by the experts embroidered peasant women's blouse with „ciocănele" descends, concerning the decorations, from the „blouse folded round the neck" (ia Încreţită la gât and from the „blouse with shoulder" (ia cu umăr). The dominant ornament on the chest and on the sleeve of the blouse is a kind of black embroidered .band, named „ciocănel", that gives the name to the blouse. This type of embroidered peasant women's blouse came into general use in the entire Sibiu Region, in the South of Transylvania and passed beyond The Carpathians towards the South of the country, reaching to replace in certain localities the specific type of blouse that was used before The 1st World War. This tact was generated by a real vestimentary trend.
