Activitatea misiunii iezuite din Cluj şi Cluj Mănăştur (1579-1588)

  • Subiect: The Activity of the Jesuit Mission from Cluj County This study presents and analyze the results of the Jesuit mission from Cluj county during the Bathory family s age till the banishment the Jesuits from Ardeal. The Jesuits activity touched the two-permitted by the Diete (1579) fields: education and religion. They opened a college and a seminar at Cluj and they got a lot of "spiritual fruits" (spiritual results). The results were not equal from the territory distribution s or chronological point of view, but they had a great contribution to the re-launch of the catholic religion in Transylvania.
