  • Subiect: The accidental archaeological discoveries request the knowledge of the moment, place and many other details that can help the researcher make connections in order to capitalize the item found. It is even more necessary in case of such a discovery that also implies certain reactions from those who found it or from those who delivered it to the appropriate institutions that can give them the proper concern as a part of the National Cultural Treasure. In the case of the Coţofeneşti Helmet, the press still argues about the year of the discovery.
