Industria satmăreană în perioada interbelică

  • Subiect: In the entire country, the period between the two world wars it was a raising one and the same thing we can say about the Satu Mare county. After the events from 1918 – 1919 when Satu Mare became a part of Romania, the town will see a great prosperity in the development of the social and economic life. The co-operative and banking system will be developed strongly at Satu Mare and these systems which through their participation to the economic life will bring an surplus of energy to the development of the Satu Mare society. We consider that the industrial life of Satu Mare is plenary making part from the general economic system of Romania between the two world wars. Presenting the industrial and commercial societies from Satu Mare indiscriminately by size, ethnical or political, we observe a prosperity after 1918 and a few natural transformations after the union of the Romanian states. The industry has played a very important place in the economic development of Satu Mare' s region.
