Subiect: The names of the streets kept changing, with each epoch, during each regime. Their old and new names are more or less known, but the process itself of street denomination was given little attention. Therefore, the present study aims at examining the changes in the streets names in Bucharest, after 1989, as they are a representative component of the 1rconfiguration of space and time, as a self-standing process during the post-communist era.
