Expoziţia pictorului Brăduţ Covaliu din cadrul secţiei de artă a Muzeului judeţean Buzău

  • Subiect: The painting and graphic collection of the artist Bradut Covaliu is presented in several exhibit halls. The artist was born on April, 1 si. 1924, in Sinaia and died in 1991 in Bucharest. Between 1942 and 1947, Bradut Covaliu studied at the Beaux Arts Academy in Bucharest, where he had the famous artist Jean Alexandru Steriadi as painting professor. Later he became a teacher at the Pedagogica] Institute, then at the „Nicolae Grigorescu" Institute in Bucharest. He was chairman of the Romanian Artists' Union for many years. As a professional painter, he participated in almost all the exhibitions of the time, in the country and also abroad. He exhibited his works of art at the great Art Galleries in Budapest, Athens, Oslo, Calcutta and India, representing Romania at Venice, and then his works were present at the Galleries in Brussels, Helsinki, Hameelina in Finland, Prague and, of course, Bucharest.
