  • Subiect: SOME ASPECTS OF SĂLAJ TOPONYMY Any language is made in a specific system by grammatical structure. The vocabulary includes all the language words (including the toponyms and the anthroponyms). The changes which affects the words in the language evolution process can help us find out the initial meaning which formed the present place names. The etymology helps us in this process. Rebuilding the way of toponyms can help us to establish contacts that Romanians have it with different nations in the history. It can help us to discover certain development phases of Romanian society, if the linguistics knowledge will corroborate with others knowledge like: history, geography, anthropology, ethnology etc.
