  • Subiect: ASPECTS CONCERNING THE JOURNEY-MAN AT A TAILOR'S LIFE IN TRANSYLVANIA The writer of this article gives emphasis to aspects of the journey-men at a tailor's life and activity in the medieval and modern Transylvania. Relying the knowledge upon the manuscripts and published documents in the archives, this writing introduces the readers into the times past of this trade. Afterwards, one may find out information about the governmental provisions concerning the journey-men from Braşov, Orăştie and Agnita. The aspects pointed out and analysed here were the following: the journeyman's trip, the acceptance, the discipline, the salary, the journey-men's mutual aid.
