Monitorizarea insectelor xilofage în muzeul în aer liber din Dumbnrava Sibiului, în anul 2008

  • Subiect: The paper points out the scientific importance of monitoring the xylophagous insects in the outdoor museum. This method allows a strict evidence of the bio-pests and the positive results of the treatments with insecticides. ln the outdoor museum in Dumbrava Sibiului this method was used in four distinctive units selected on the following criteria: the wood essence used in different constructions and the different spices of xylophagous insects, characteristic for wood essence. This monitoring was made in 2007. The paper also presents the method used in this process. Using the above mentioned methods and treatments in 2008 we could notice substantial and visible cut down of the insects attacks.
