"Mişcarea Social-Economică" - O asociaţie transilvăneană de cercetare socială

  • Subiect: THE SOCIAL-ECONOMIC MOVEMENT - A TRANSYLVANIAN ASSOCIATION OF SOCIAL RESEARCH This article presents the activity of the cultural-scientific association „The Social-Economic Movement” founded in Cluj, in the first decade after the unification on the 1st December 1918 under the care of „The Society of Tomorrow Review". Organized according to the model offered by the Romanian Social Institute in Bucharest led by Dimitrie Gusti, the association gathered the Transylvanian intelligentsia keen on studying the social reality. It had as a main aim the initiation and supporting of some systematic and collective investigations carried out under standardized means of research which should ensure the results obtained through objectivity and scientific value.
