  • Subiect: NICOLAE IORGA AND MARAMUREŞ The first part of the work presents the scientist's travel in Maramures, a romantic and eventful travel. What we had in view, first of all, was his ethnographical considerations made during the travel in some villages from Maramureş; then the meeting, the relationships and the considerations on the personalities of his time: Tit Bud and Ioan Mihalyi of Apşa. We underlined here the historian's interest in the entire Romanian history, especially in the history of the Maramureş Land. What we marked out was the historian's interest for different aspects of the visited places, regarding the social life, the language, important monuments.
