  • Subiect: „The object of this study was the analysis of the Dacian and the Romanian names that occur in Dimitrie Cantemir's Latin works "De antiquis et hodiernis Moldaviae nominibus" and "Historia Moldo-Vlachica". It was noticed that on the one hand, the author used the names as they were written in his Latin and Greek sources; on the other hand, he used the Romanian forms or tries several Latin forms he made ad hoc, in searching for the best one.”
