Silviu Dragomir - artizan şi istoric al Marii Uniri

  • Subiect: Silviu Dragomir, one of the great Romanian historians has put his talent with dedication and devotion, strength and intelligence work in the service of high ideals of his country, establishing the truth about a series of complex and sometimes confusing events of Romanian people's life, proving it with documents that any man well informed couldn’t denied. Renowned scholar was a militant, a defender of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Romania, for that fight in his youth nearby Goldis, as secretary of the Grand National Assembly from Alba Iulia. Silviu Dragomir wrote many articles devoted to the Revolution of 1848, south – danubian romanity and Slavo-Romanian relations, ethnic minorities in Romania, the Romanian state minority policy, the Vienna arbitration, and general problems of the Romanians of Transylvania. But mostly he was an active participant of the union, was involved with mind, heart and soul in absolutely all actions that preceded the Union of December 1, 1918, being one of the most fervent supporters of unconditional union of Transylvania with Romania.
