  • Subiect: THE GENERAL ELECTORAL ASSEMBLY OF THE ROMANIANS FROM TRANSYLVANIA AND HUNGARY (SIBIU, 16/28 NOVEMBER 1894) Our purpose in this study is out lighting the searching, debates and movements amid Romanian national movement from Transylvania and Hungary during 1894 as an out coming of the process unleashed for the 1892 Memorandum. Our sources for clarifying our perspective up or these events were: the documents issued by the Romanian National Party, the vast correspondence between the leader of this period and the information held by the press of the most outstanding groups at the national movement. We've tried to scratch the Substitute Committee's activity after imprison of the Memorandums Central Committee (Board); the preparing and the development of General Assembly of the Romanian elector from Sibiu (16(Nov 28 l894) and the Hungarian Government's proceedings against the Romanians' fight for national identity.
