"Astra Museum" în contextul etnologiei româneşti

  • Subiect: Without loosing its function as treasurer of aur nation, the museum is above all the first school in which we are educated in the spirit of tradition, of aur origins, and of those facts that shape the identity of aur people. Besides the professional training of curators and researchers, the graphic presentation and the content of ideas of the publications, -extremely useful working instruments- are facts that point aut the standard, the scientific and educative efficiency of a museum. The high quality of a publication may be assured only by a specialized printing house and of course by the researchers in the profile. At the end of 2008 the number of works issued by ASTRA MUSEUM Printing House were over 60 titles, the majority in different foreign languages. The editorial policy focused on safeguarding and promoting the tradition confers the museum the quality of the space where we can discover aur identity, the place where we can find out the synthesis of the traditional civilization in which everyone can discover its own roots, origins. Only thus we can raise awareness of the young generations on the feeling of belonging to this space and be proud of who we are. Once we joined the European Union we must nat forget that we have to be ourselves, and preserve our identity. We have to underline an extremely important conclusion: the works printed by ASTRA MUSEUM Printing House have a decisive role in defining the place and the importance of the Sibiu Ethno-museum school, that plays a major role in individualizing the ethno-museum science into the national and international context.
