Ofrande animale în mormintele de secol IV de la Polocin - "Izlaz" şi pogoreşti - "La Movilă" (com. Pogoneşti, jud. Vaslui)

Subiect: „Analysis of the animal offerings found in the inhumation tombs from the Polocin and Pogoneşti necropoles has evidenced the fact that simmilarly necropoles belonging to the Sântana de Mureş - Cemeahov culture. the most frequently occurring species is the young sheep. Traces of calves or pigs ha ve been also discovered. althougb much more rarely. Also1or 2 bony pieces of horses, dogs and fowls (hen) ha ve been also identified. In the opinion of lhe aulhor, study of lhe animal ofTerings lhrows light not only on lhe belief of lhe people in a future life, but also on lhe objects oflheir activities.”
